Aerial Strong

Suitable for: Anyone who wants to focus on building upper body strength

This is a conditioning class using the aerial apparatus (e.g. silks and trapeze) to train the upper body and core. Aerial students who feel stuck at a particular trick will benefit greatly from this class. Our coaches are equipped with a wide range of conditioning knowledge, and are able to provide variations and progression for each student.

Aerial Yoga Flow

Suitable for: Anyone looking for a well-rounded workout.

Traditional mat positions are practised while suspended in mid-air on a yoga hammock, which relieves stress on the shoulders, head, and spine. Students move in a sequence of yoga positions with the aid of the yoga hammocks. The flow sequence will help with balance and awareness for the entire body.

Beginner Backbends

Suitable for: Anyone curious to learn the basics of safe back bending techniques.

Backbending can seem daunting and undoable at first, but with proper guidance and patience you will eventually check off this milestone! The aim of this program is to get beginner students to understand how to be able to bend their backs using a balance of strength and stretch in their front torso and entire back. Students who already have a backbend but are looking to deepen their back flexibility are also welcome to join. The possibilities are endless!

Beginner Handstands

Suitable for: People with prior inversion experience in headstand, tripod stand, or forearm stand without assistance.

Some levels of shoulder and core stability are required. The class will encompass many drills to help you understand the dynamics of weight transfer, awareness of your base, and how to properly load your joints.

Floor Inversions

Suitable for: Anyone curious about headstands, tripod stands, and forearms.

Have you always wanted to stand on your hands? This class will ease you through a gradual progression towards a forearm stand, starting from a headstand and tripod stand. Students will learn proper warm-up techniques as well as supervised practice time for understanding muscular isolation and correct individual posture. Balance and strength will be gained through the fun practice of inversions.

Pilates - Mat work

Suitable for: Senior citizens, and anyone looking to gradually restart a fitness regime.

Pilates is a mind-body workout that strengthens your core, tones your entire body, and improves your overall stability. Mat work is a great choice for everyone from Pilates beginners to advanced students. The exercises not only can build in difficulty, but every exercise can be modified to decrease or increase the level of challenge. Our certified Pilates coach will provide modifications to cater to all body types.

Mobility Stretch

Suitable for: People who are desk-bound, and sit/stand all day.

This class focuses on mat work mobility. 30 minutes low impact movement exercises to improve core and stability in joints; next 30 minutes full body gentle stretching. This class will help you improve your posture and release tensions in your joints.


Suitable for: Everyone.

This is a fat burning and body toning workout class, where you build strength and endurance through its highly intensive stretching workouts, specially designed by Derrick Ee, a seasoned fitness trainer and dance coach. A fitness lifestyle that’s challenging, energising, fun and invigorating for anyone up for it!

Roll & Release

Suitable for: Everyone.

Myofascial release can reduce tissue tension and muscle tightness to increase joint range of motion (ROM), thus promoting the recovery process. Regular rolling of myofascial release can alleviate muscle tightness, helping to ensure optimal joint ROM and enhance overall movement performance. At AFS, we use a combination of foam rollers and massage balls for different parts of our body.

Straddle Invert

Suitable for: Anyone who is struggling to invert with good form.

Many pole and aerial students have learned to invert but not all of us are able to do so properly. We succumbed to back pains and neck aches from forcing our way in. Our coach will break down the roles of each body part, train them and then connect them together. Attend regularly to see results.

Targeted Stretch - Hip Openers

Suitable for: Anyone wanting to release their tight hips. Going into splits is not compulsory.

Tightness in the hips is one of the most common conditions from spending large parts of the day sitting or standing. Embracing a regular hip opening practice is a great way to release this tension. Middle split training is also incorporated towards the end of the class for those aiming to flatten their pancakes.

Targeted Stretch - Front Splits

Suitable for: Anyone eager to learn the proper techniques of flexibility training for front splits.

This class focuses on both strengthening and lengthening of the hamstrings, making sure the hip flexors and quads are also warm enough to ease into a controlled front split. This can be where you start your split training journey safely.

Targeted Stretch - Shoulders and Back

Suitable for: Everyone.

Modern technology has caused our backs to be more rounded, leading to spinal and back tightness. This class will help to regain the range of motion in your shoulders and back, create more space and openness, release tightness, and increase spinal mobility. You are ultimately as young as you feel.

Recovery & Relaxation

Suitable for: Everyone.

After a long, tiring day of meetings or after a strenuous workout, you need a recovery session to help you relax and rejuvenate your mind and body. Nothing but positive flow and renewed energy in this class, you move better and also rest better!

Aerial Practice

This practice session is for all students currently enrolled in any 4-week/ 8-week course at AFS. Every session is supervised by a coach on duty. Students are required to follow all etiquette rules during all practice sessions.

Aerial Practice is a great way to brush up on your skills during your term course and master the tricks and transitions taught in class safely.

Private Training

Students are free to arrange for private training if the classes don't fit their schedule. Also for anyone who is looking for a coach to cater specifically to their body and needs. Studio is available between 2pm to 5pm on weekdays for private sessions.
